The leitmotif of the 1st and 2nd conference sessions was combined transport in supply chains and the planned Bydgoszcz Logistics Hub. The results of the COMBINE project, implemented by the regional self-government, were also presented, including the current state and future opportunities for the development of inland waterway transport services using multimodal platforms. The representatives of business, port management and carriers participated in the panel, which discussed the importance of developing the logistics hub in the vicinity of Bydgoszcz and Solec Kujawski for TEN-T network and combined transport in Poland.
Among the over 90 conference participants were representatives of the most important research centers in Poland, logistics companies and inland shipping companies, business environment institutions, unions and associations, as well as state institutions responsible for water management.
