COMBINE organized a study trip to Bettembourg-Dudelange intermodal terminal to learn more about the horizontal handling technologies.

COMBINE partner SGKV welcomed more than 110 top-class participants active in the field of Combined Transport (CT) from practice, politics and research in Berlin to the fifth annual “Terminal Tag” titled “CT.System.Thinking”. The event was initially launched in 2015 to establish a platform for exchange between different players in combined transport, offering opportunities to expand networks for future-oriented cooperation.

COMBINE project partners visited Ludwigshafen Verbund site, the largest chemical complex in the world.

The second all-partner meeting of the Interreg BSR project COMBINE took place on the 18th and 19th of June in the Lindholmen Science Park.

The 10th Annual Forum of the European Union Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region was organised in Gdansk on the 12th and 13th of June.

COMBINE was approved as Flagship of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region in the National Coordinators' meeting in Copenhagen this May. COMBINE is a flagship under the EUSBSR Policy Area (PA) Transport. Flagships of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region demonstrate the progress of the Strategy and may serve as pilot examples for desired action in a given field.

More than 300 participants from all around the Baltic Sea and beyond attended the Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme Conference held in Lübeck, Germany, on the 9th and 10th of April to talk about project achievements in making the Baltic Sea region more innovative, better accessible and sustainable.
